The baroque palace with its 160 metres long south wing and an 67 metres broad west wing was the residence of the counts and princes of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt from 1571 until 1918. As a magnificent seat of government, the court of the former Thuringian microstate had nearly 250 rooms at their disposal. Come and experience insights and outlooks of the residence castle.
