Since July 2014, there has been an exciting offer for children and families - a children's audio guide for the palace's festival halls. The audio guide with radio play character was created as part of a project week as a cooperation with the SRB Saalfeld (media educator Silvio Müller) and the 6th grade of the Friedrich-Adolf-Richter School Rudolstadt (Susanne Arnold).
The students spent a week studying the history of the palace and its reconstruction in the 18th century, selecting topics and objects themselves, writing stories about them and then recording them themselves. The result is an acoustic tour through the festival halls in which Prince Ludwig Friedrich and Princess Henriette talk about their lives in the palace in the 18th century. The audio guide can be borrowed free of charge (German language only!) for a deposit at our shop and used during the public tour of the festive halls.
